Rules for all Leagues (normal soccer rules with these exceptions)

• No off-sides
• No slide tackling (may slide to score or save a ball)
• Must sub out for 3 minutes if shown a yellow card
• Player who hit the ball over the fence must immediately shag or enlist someone to do it 
• Any red card, (or second yellow), team plays down a player and carded player sits the next game
• GKs may throw or dribble out. No punting/ drop kicking
• A team must have 6 on the field to compete. Otherwise a 0-4 forfeit or current score if it was greater
• Any violent behavior could result in suspensions or lifetime bans
• Walls and opposing players must be 7 yds away from the restart. Persistent infraction could result in a card
• Substitutions may occur on any dead ball. Players must enter at half. Exiting players may do so anywhere
• NO SUBBING during play
• Opposing team does not need to wait for subbing to restart (excluding GK substitutions)
• 25 min halves, 2 min half

Poor Sportsmanship

• While every ref is different, we will encourage our refs to use their cards to detour verbal and physical actions against the refs and other players. Just because one ref allowed certain actions does not mean every ref will allow it. 
• NWSC has the right to suspend or even permanently ban people from our facility.
